Made in China and Japan

We do not make our garments in one place. We picked two countries and two specialist partners because no single factory does every category at the level we wanted.

Tees, knitwear, outerwear, footwear and accessories are made in China — with a partner who has been producing for some of the labels we grew up admiring. Selvedge denim and our heaviest cottons are made in Japan, where the looms have been running longer than most fashion houses have existed.

Every garment is inspected at source before it ships. Our standard is simple: if I would not put my name on it twice, it does not get the SAVNT tag once.
